"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Subject: fund origin

ORIGIN OF CONTRACT FUND

Dear Brother

This is the origin of the funds. As you know my father was a Contractor with
SHELL B.P. During this contract, they inflated the contract sum, which they
later shared among themselves. Immediately the Contract was completed, he
deposited his own in the Security Company. He was planning to transfer the
fund abroad for investment before his death. In the Deposit agreement with
Security Company, he left a CLAUSE that if he dies that the next of kin
(that is me) must provide a business partner and the business partner must
be a foreigner because he did not want me to waste the funds, As a result of
my unprofessionally or lack of investment strategy and idea. Please note
that my Government does not know they inflated the contract sum. Therefore
that is why I ask u to keep it confidential. As the fund will be transfer
through Bond Company in London.

Again, let me not forget the security company does not know that the content
of the box is money. My late father lodged it as Family valuables and
Artifacts.
But he knows that the estimated value is US$36,000,000USD.This is the whole
detail about this business. Please make sure you keep it confidential. We
will be in your country with the Original documents of this transaction for
proof of fund legality.Contact me at ahmed1saraf@yahoo.com

I await your immediate response.
Allah blesses you.
Ahmed El-saraf.
CONTRACT
Activity includes completing the Western Desert Gas Development Project
(WDGDP) with the first gas having been delivered through the system. The
$2.5-billion project is contracted to add some 550 MMcfd of gas to the
national grid and up to 60,000 bpd of condensate. Overall, the project
involves constructing gas gathering facilities at Tariq and Salam with a
capacity up to 100 MMcfd.

There are two main pipelines, a northern line with a capacity of 600 MMcfd
and a southern line with a 125 MMcfd capacity. The Shell operated northern
line consists of a 31-mi (50-km), 32-in. (813-mm) section and a 143-mi
(230-km), 34-in. (864-mm) section. The system includes four spurs that
measure 70 mi (113 km) total with 10, 12, 22 and 26-in. (254, 304, 559 and
660-mm) pipe.
The southern line is has been constructed, It extends 137 mi (220 km) with
18-in. (457-mm) pipe from Salam to Abu Gharadiq, where it ties into an
existing 162-mi (260-km), 24-in. (610-mm) line that extends to Dahshour.
Elsewhere, British Gas signed a 25-year franchise agreement with Egyptian
General Petroleum Corp. (EGPC) that year for the exclusive right to develop
the gas market in Upper Egypt. The project involves a major extension to the
Egyptian gas transmission and distribution system, which were completed in
three phases.

Apparently, the Egyptian government awarded the franchise agreement after it
decided to gasify the entire southern region in an effort to attract
industry and facilitate a population transfer from congested areas like
Cairo. Phase one was accomplished when the BG company, NVGC, took over
already existing pipeline between Cairo and Kuraymat near Beni Suef, where
the gas was used as feedstock for the Kuraymar power station. In phase two,
the existing line was extended 168 mi (270 km) south from Beni Suef on the
east bank of the Nile, through al-Minya and on to Asyut on the Nile’s west
bank.

Phase three extends the line another 162 mi (260 km) south from Asyut to
Qena. NGVC could exercise a fourth phase that extends the line further south
to the new industrial area of Toshka. Total investment for the three phases
was more than $400 million, completely financed by NVGC. Anticipated
completion dates are late 2000 for phase two and sometime in 2001 for phase
three. Gas comes from the new deepwater discoveries in the Mediterranean’s
Nile Delta Basin.

Construction was underway on a 150-mi (241-km) 36-in. (914-mm) gas line from
Port Fuad to El Arish on the Sinai Peninsula. The line reaches a point about
25 mi (40 km) from the Israeli border.
The project, which is a 50-50 joint venture between Italy’s ENI and the
Egyptian General Petroleum Corp., has an initial capacity of 2 Bcfd. When
Israel elects to sign a gas deal with Eqypt, capacity could be expanded to 5
Bcfd.
Egypt and Libya agreed to build two pipelines. One line will be used to
export Egyptian natural gas to Libya and the other to export Libyan crude
oil to Egypt.
The Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. and Libya’s National Oil Corp.
conducted feasibility studies and detailed engineering for both projects.

The gas line were given priority. Deliveries were made to Libya’s domestic
northern coast grid system and eventually were connected to the country’s
gas export network. The proposed oil and gas projects were carried out by an
Egyptian-Libyan joint venture, United Investment Co.
Petroleum Pipeline Co. has a 15-mi (24-km), 16-in. (406-mm) gas transmission
line in Egypt’s Eyon Moussa area along with a 34-mi (55-km), 12-in. (305-mm)
products line that runs from Suez to Eyon Moussa. Both lines have been
completed.Contact me at ahmed1saraf@yahoo.com
