"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest Friend,
Hope you are good over there. I sent a mail to you some couple of days ago concerning the honest assistance I am soliciting from you. I begged that you should contact the Security Company in whose custody my consignments of funds are kept so that they can give you instructions on how to get the consignments retrieved. I have been expecting your response in this regards to know the situation of things between you and the company. I do not know if you have been able to make contacts with them.
Please try and contact them if you have not done so. Explain to them you are the one I have chosen as my beneficiary to my consignments in their custody. Let them know I have instructed you to conatct them in this regard.

All you have to do is send a mail to inform them about this. I await your soonest response and pray that the good almighty should grant you all the grace and effort to complete this task.
