"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Amarjit Singh,

I seek for your participation in a mutual benefiting monetary matter. My colleagues and I have concluded all arrangements to move a huge amount of money out of Ghana. We would like to know if you are capable to receiving large sums of money in your country without any problem pending the time my group will delegate someone to meet and discuss terms with you. The said funds are legit legal tender realized from the excess allocation from various departments under my Ministry.

Because of our position as civil servants and the monetary policy in my country we would not want to partake physically in this transaction for obvious reasons. We need someone with vast experience and capability to move the funds as well as receiving them by his/her solo effort.

If you have the capability and willingness to assist on the said subject matter, kindly get in touch with me urgently via email or better still give me a call on the below telephone number so that we can enlighten you more on the said subject matter.

Thanks,

Mr. Denzel Edu
