"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,
I honestly apologize and I hope I do not cause you any embarrassment by
contacting you through this means for a business transaction of this
magnitude, but this is due to the confidentiality and prompt access
response on this medium, and with trust and good hope I disclose this
information confidentially to you for our mutual benefit and please I
want you to keep this secret to yourself even if you are not able to
help and assist me, Before explaining the nature of my request and with
profound interest and in utmost confidence.

My name is Emmnuel Taylor the first Son of Charles Taylor, former
President of Liberia. As you are aware if you listen to news on CNN
or BBC, my father resigned and handed over power to Mr. Moses Blah
having been given an automaton by America to leave office.

We have been granted Asylum in Nigeria, but which the Nigeria’s seem
to be fighting against, and has created a lot of misunderstanding or
civil disorder in Nigeria since the 11th of August 2003. Nigeria is
in West Africa and close to my country Liberia, therefore there is
no guarantee for security, hence my father sending me to South Africa
to safeguard my life and that of my family. I came into South Africa
with some money, which I have successfully deposited in Security
Company, which I would need your help to take this money out of Africa.

If you are interested and ready to help me, I will gladly give you 15%
of the total sum of (US30M) Thirty million United State Dollars Which
is currently laying in the Security company here in Johannesburg,
for your effort and 5% can be set aside for any expenditure that
may be incurred by you for saving me from the predicament while
the 80% is for investment in your country.

Kindly treat this matter with high confidentiality, as you know
the current situation, which you can verify from CNN or BBC.
I would like you to reply urgent as to enable me know where you
stand as time is of essence.

Thank you and God bless.
Best Regards
Emmnuel Taylor.
