"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Peace be with you and your entire family ? my dear friend I have been battling with my ill health which have been giving me sleepless nights here. It was so tough that the lab top computer which the Hospital allowed me to be using to keep myself busy was removed from me for a week just because of the illness. For this reason I could not reach you for I did not access my mail.My daer this is a transaction which I want you to take as your own and I know that God Almighty who has made it for me to have choosen to handle this my hard earn money will see you through as you will invest this money aacordingly as I have directed you to do in my first mail to you.

Please,for me to forward an authorization letter to the security company where this luggages (boxes) of money was deposited for a change from my name to your name as the beneficiary be they can carry it over to you.You should send to me the following informations as listed below.

(1) Your full name
(2) Your contact address
(3) Telephone number
(4) Your Age,the kind of job you do.

When I get all this I will now send an authorization letter mandating them to do all the changes to that effect to reflect you as the beneficiary so that they will now carry the (luggages) money to your address.I want you to bear in mind that they staffs of the security company do not know what inside the boxes for I presented it to them as presidential luggages,I am just informing so that you will know.
