"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: THANKS FOR YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO MY REQUEST

Dear Sir,

Thanks very much for your concern over my business transaction and as it
stand, you should not hesitate to know that you shall be handling the sum of
USD$10.5M for charity works onbehalf of the Less Privileged in the Society
and more importantly, to the Orphans and the Motherless Babies whom I feel
so much for on a daily basis.

In view of this, you should be well informed that you may be required to
travel down to Italy to endorse and receive the fund officially but whereby
you are unable to travel, you shall then seek the services of an Attorney
who shall represent you pursue the course of the business transaction in
good faith. If you so choose the services of an Attorney, I shall not
hesitate to recommend you to an influential and self sustaining Attorney
whom I feel can handle your case more confortably. This is an Attorney who
has distinguished himself between town and gown and people from all walks of
life look for him because of his wherewithal. His Name is Chief Maxwell
Udoka {SAN} on private email Address No.: mu20118@yahoo.com.... Feel free to
contact him if you so desire his services and do remember that you shall pay
him off until he works for you and the fund get transferred into your
account and from where you can remove all expenses made before using the
remaining for the purpose it is meant to serve.

You should note that before the fund was deposited, it was placed under
insurance cover and the premium placed on it as made it very imperative that
no hand shall touch the fund until it is transferred to a particular
account. This is so following the upsurg my my family members who have been
fighting over my wealth. However, I would want you to know that at the end
of this transaction, you shall never remain the same and God will bless you
in abundance.

For the rule of law to take is course and for the normalisation/procession
of the transfer itself, you shall be required to forward to me as follows
for which an authorization letter shall be raised to the bank and all in
your name and behalf:

1.} Your Full Name and Residential Address
2.} Your Telephone and Fax Numbers including your Mobile Phone
3.} Your Date of Birth and Country of Origin
4.} Your Occupation/Profession/Position
5.} Your Designated Bank Account where you may want the fund transferred
into including the name and address of your Bank.

All these are the criterial needed for the immediate transfer of the fund
into your and before I go here, I will still want to assure you of the best
while hoping that you will never let me down in all ramification and God
will surely bless you in abundance.
