"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PLEASE ASSIST A DYING WOMAN!!!

Hello,

Compliment of the season!.I know that you will be very surprised when you
recieved this message.Well,i think i should start by introducing myself to
you first.

My name is Bambara Kadiaogo, and i am a dying woman who had decided to donate
what I have to the poor etcs.I am 62 years old and was diagnosed for cancer
about 2 years ago, immediately after the death of my husband, who had left me
everything he have because we don't have a child.

I have been touched by God to donate from what I have inherited from my late
husband as i mentioned above for the good work of God,rather than allow my
relatives to use my husband's hard earned funds ungodly. They all wicked
people, and they contributed to the death of my husband that's why i don't
want to release this fund to them.I have asked God to forgive me all my sins
and i believe he has because He is a merciful God. I decided to give away
this money because i have few months to live on earth

Below is the fund my husband left for me which i have decided to give away:
US$1.3M (One million Three hundred thousand dollars)i want to give this fund
away for the good work of the lord, and to
help themotherless, less privileged and also for the assistance of the
widows.

At this moment I cannot take any telephone calls, due to the fact that my
relatives are around me and i have been restricted by my doctor from taking
telephone calls because i deserve all the rest i
>can get.Presently,I have informed the director of the bank where my husband
>deposited the fund. Now all you should do is to send your bank details
>including your private phone and fax number to me.Upon reciept of these
>requirements,i will authorise Dr.Ouedraogo Wilson, the director of foreign
>remittance department- International Bank Of Africa to transfer the fund to
>your account.

Once the fund is transferred to your account,40% will be for your
assistance,5% will be for expenses you do before the fund arrived in your
account. While 55% of the fund will goes to the motherless, less privileged
etcs.

I wish you all the best and may the good Lord bless you abundantly.I know i
have never met you before but my mind tells me to chose you for this GREAT
TASK,and i hope you will not betray me when you confirmed the fund in your
account.

I will appreciate your utmost confidentiality in this matter until the task
is accomplished,as I don't want anything that will Jeopardize my last wish,
due to the fact that i do not want relatives or family members standing in
the way of my last wish.

Regard,
Mrs.Bambara Kadiaogo
