"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear VICTIMNAME,
Greetings and many thanks for your mail.

That I Realy thank Allmighty GOD for meeting a trustwordy person like You, In view of this I got your contact through my country's foreign trade mission after I was convinced in my mind that your name could be used as the next of kin to this claim no mater where ever you live. The request of the foreigner as a next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and a Burkinabe cannot stand as the next of kin to a foreigner.

I proposed to you,not only for our mutual benefit but also for a long and everlasting relationship to exist between you and I,and between our children and related ones, through this venture. Well, I am a man of my early 60's,married to Mrs, Stella Banabou,of the "National Aviation Authorities"Kwame Nkrumah, here in my country, with (2)children, Johnpaul Banabou and Bintou Banabou, both in the University for their Finals. I believe that one day,at the conclusion of transaction,we will come to see each other, when I will come over to your country for further investment.

Dear VICTIMNAME bear with Me that you have noting to worry about to consummate this opportunity than to asure me trust and love, that you will not betray me if this Fund being transfer into your account in your contry?.
