Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Today has been a sad day in our parish of Andalusia. A dealy beloved member of my flock passed on due to old age and infirmity. I give thanks to God and our blessed Virgin Mary I was there to comfort his family and administer the sacrement of last rights while absolving him of his sins before he finally died. After many years in this vocation I still find these events difficult to deal with on a personal and spiritual level.
