"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir

I am Mr peter kwsi.I am the Director of the West African Monetary Council.
Due to the illegal operations of fraudsters in this country Ghana and other african countries,my agency made several seizures of consignments which are presently awaiting shipment to their different destinations overseas.

And while going through our files of "listed unclaimed/seized consignments",my staff found a consignment bearing your names and emails ,which has been seized from a group of fraudsters. And I strongly beleive that you have not been informed of this seizure.

In my capacity as the Director of the West African Monetary Council,I am prepared to help you get your consignment safely to you in your Country as even my agency is tired of keeping these consignments in our whare-house at the Kotoka International Airport,Accra,Ghana.

For proper identification and delivery, please send the following:

1)First three pages of your international passport or Driver's licence,
2)Your phone/fax numbers,
3)Your home/office address,and
4)An eight-letter PASSWORD that will be known only between you and this agency, and which will be used in a security check while your consignment is being delivered to you.

Please,I'll like you to fill the attached form PROPERLY and have it sent to my office VIA E-MAIL ONLY .

At the receipt of the above-mentioned,I will order for the immidiate discharge and shipment of your consignment from the Kotoka International Airport to you.And this is why your PASSWORD is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

I look forward to your immediate response.
For any additional comments or clearifications, please do not hesitate to send me mail at this address from MONDAY - SATURDAY between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.

My Best Regards,

Mr peter kwsi
