"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: information

Dear Friend,
Thanks for your response, and sorry for the late respond to your mail is due to my ill health ,I know you have not met me nor come in contact with me but i have contacted you for this transaction.
I will advice you to follow my instruction strictly since am an insider in the bank.

I have to assure you that we will work within the legal provision of my country and yours too to avoid any doubt.

I have worked over 15 years with African Development bank here in African and i have served the bank with all my capacity but i am contacting you to work with me to achieve this funds because you share the same last name with our late Customer and It does not matter if you are not related to him but what matters is the repatriation of the funds to your country before they declared it unclaimable. The costumer died without any next of kin.His account has been dormant for over 8 years now and i am his account officer,i cannot claim this funds without the help of a foreigner who shares the same last name with my late customer and it has to be someone that i can trust and we need to work as one family to achieve this funds.

We will need the services of a lawyer over here if you can not come in person. But my advice is for you to be present to reduce the lawyer expenses or the lawyer will represent you and advice you on the best modalities to have this funds transfered to you.We will make some expences on the course of this transaction.

I have all the information that the bank may require from you regarding the life and death of our late customer and all his information that are contained in his files are with me,i will provide you with every information you will need.

We will only need to keep this transaction confidential so that no one else will know that you are working with me to transfer this funds out of the bank.

The bank has given a 14day deadline to provide the next of kin our late customer or they will have the funds declared as unclaimable.

If the funds are decalred as unclaimable, the funds will be diverted into the management funds which will only enrich the management of the bank alone.

You don't have to be skeptical,i will advice you to send the information i requested, from you so that i will submit them to the bank's customer services department for processing.

I will advice you to send the following information for reconfirmation:

1)Your names......................

2)Address..............................

3)Occupation.........................

4)Age................................

5)Telephone number...............

6)Sex....................................

I will expect the above information as soon as you receive this mail.If you are interest to work with me with open mind and honesty.

Thanks,
Sincerely
Austine
