Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Dear Brother,

I hope this letter will meet you in good health as I have prayed. I am the above named person from Dakar Senegal. I was married to late Angolan business man,Mr Salisu Mouzinga.

We were married for twenty seven years with a one son.My husband died few days after he drove his car unto a land mine .Less than one year before his death, we were both Muslim converts which has giving me the faith and courage to send you this email trusting and beleiving that you are a God fearing person.

Since his death, I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home. When my late husband was alive he left the sum of ($14.5MUSD) Fourteen million, five hundred thousand U.S.Dollars for safe keeping in a security and finance company here in Dakar Senegal,The money was realised from diamond export.

Due to my current poor health, I was recently told by my Doctor that I would not last for the next eight months because of the cancer problem which is rapidly spreading. Having known my condition and the expiry of the three years safe deposit contract my late husband had with the security company, I decided to donated this money to Muslim organization that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein.

I want this Muslim organization or individual to use this money in all sincerity to fund mosques, orphanages, widows, and also propagating the word of ALLAH and to ensure that the society upholds the views and belief of the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran emphasizes so much on ALLAH'S benevolence and this has encourage me to take the bold step.

Because of my inability and my son informal experience to handle this matter alone , I faced difficulties now in Senegal where I am presently contacting you from. I have made decision with my only son to donate 50% of the money to Islamic orphanage home and organisation's.He will inherit 40% of the money,While,10% will be for you considering the good and sincere effort and time you will put to see the transfer of the money to your possesion.You will also help to secure a good education & accommodation for him in your country,and also for the sake of ALLAH I will like you to take him as your Brother and be a guidance to him because I will like him to come over to your country after you get the money to your possesion.

I need this assistance from you due to the fact that my late husband relatives are non beleivers and I don’t want my husband efforts to be used by unbeleivers non Muslims to something that will not please ALLAH. I dont want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this bold decision for I know that after death, I will be with ALLAH the most beneficent and the most merciful.

Please,do not see this message as embarrasing,it is of good will . However,is a problem to me because I can not be able to handle this programe from here in Senegal and I do not want to lose the money to wrong hands or raise eyebrows of other that will know about the money.

My happiness is that I lived as a true devoted Muslims worthy of emulation for few year of my convert to ISLAM where I found peace and love. Whoever that wants to serve ALLAH must serve him in truth and in fairness. Please always be prayerful all through your life and also put me in your daily prayers to ALLAH,because with him,all things are possible.
