Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

GOOD DAY TO YOU AND THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR EMAIL AND AT LEAST NOW I KNOW THAT
YOU HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS WITH YOU. YOU HAVE STATED IN YOUR EMAIL THAT YOU
DO NOT HAVE ANY INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT OR DRIVERS LICENSE. I WANT YOU TO
KNOW THAT THE DRIVERS LICENSE OR INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT IS ONLY FOR
IDENTIFICATION AND NOTHING ELSE. THE SECURITY COMPANY ASK FOR THIS SO THAT
THEY CAN BE SURE OF THE PERSON THEY ARE DEALING WITH INCASE YOU WANT TO
TRAVEL TO LONDON AND INSPECT THE CONSIGNMENT SO THAT THEY DON'T ALLOW THE
WRONG PERSON INSPECT ANOTHER PERSON'S CONSIGNMENT.

IF YOU SAY YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT OR DRIVERS LICENSE, I
ADVICE YOU TO SEND ALL THE 3 DOCUMENTS THAT I SENT TO YOU TO THE SECURITY
COMPANY THROUGH AN EMAIL ATTACHMENT AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE
AN INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT OR DRIVERS LICENSE AND YOU STILL WANT TO GO AHEAD
AND CLAIM THE 2 TRUNK BOXES FROM THEM AS MY BENEFICIARY. PLEASE GO AHEAD AND
SEND ALL THE 3 DOCUMENTS THAT I HAVE SENT TO YOU TO THE SECURITY COMPANY AND
GET BACK TO ME AS TIME IS NOT ON OUR SIDE AS MY HEALTH IS BECOMING WORSE BY
THE DAY AND THE DOCTORS DONT EVEN WANT ME TO USE THE COMPUTER ANYMORE AS
THEY SAY IT AFFECTS THE LIFE SUPPORT MACHINE THAT HELPS ME BREATHE MUCH
EASIER. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AND LET ME KNOW WHAT THE SECURITY COMPANY
