"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTN:C/E/O,

May I use this opportunity to introduce myself to you as MR. FIKILE MBALULA, the president of the youth wing of the South African ruling party (ANC). I am contacting you with the hope that we will establish a cordial business relationship that will be beneficial to both parties. Though this idea sounds very strange to me but I have no other alternative than to contact an international business man to assist me achieve my aim since I want this transaction to be very secret.
I know that I am taking great risk by doing this business with someone whom I have had no previous relationship with but my mind is highly convinced that you will not betray me at the successful end of this business because I have made a lot of consultations with my family spiritualist who gave me the assurance to proceed with the arrangement. All I demand from you is your dedicated honesty and sincerity of purpose to enable me confide in you the required trust necessary for the success of this transaction. I am doing this transaction with you because of my ambition to contest the next presidential election here; therefore, I will like this transaction to be held in high secrecy.

I have to assure you here that this transaction is 100% risk free. Please send me your confidential email address to enable me send to you my personal details with personal pictures
As the president of the ANC youth wing, I was made the chairman of the board in-charge of internally screening companies for payment of their value added tax (VAT) returns. I fortunately came across a foreign company that have completed their business in south Africa valued at Two Hundred and fifty Million since 1997 and they have since then withdrew from the country without claiming their stipulated 14% VAT returns.
This 14% VAT return due to the company has been in the Escrow account of our reserve bank since then without any body-putting claim to this fund.
As the chairman of this committee, all I need to do is to make you the beneficiary of this fund once I have the go ahead from you since all the necessary documents are currently in my possession. I am doing this with the full consent of board secretary who is also the VAT returns Lawyer hence we have agreed that all the files related to this fund and the transaction will be destroyed once the funds has been safely transferred to any account that you will provide for us for this purpose.
Please if you are interested to be part of this venture, contact me immediately through my secured email address fikile_mbalulasa@yahoo.com. Please should you for any reason consider yourself not fit for this transaction, kindly destroy this fax message and never mention any part of it to anybody.
May god bless you.
Yours sincerely,

MR. FIKILE MBALULA
