"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your Prayers Needed

Dearest Pastor Robert Ised,

Calvary greetings and may the peace and love of God almighty continue to be with you and your family.

I was relably informed by Mr.Joseph Osei-Owusu that he has insructed you to contact the security company in Spain for all the necessary action for the immediate release and delivery of the consignment to your given address. However I want you to COPY ME all your email communication or correspondenses with the security company in Spain for my reference and let me know when you recieve this consignment so I can be able to draw my WILL.

I also want to inform you that my doctors told me yesterday that next week I will be undergoing another session of Chemotherapy treatment for cancer that will last for about two weeks. I want to let you know that due to the treatment routine I might not be able to write you for some time but as soon as I am fit enough to do so I will endeavour to write you.

I only need you and your congregation to remember me in your prayers daily that Jesus should forgive me all my sins through His Blessed Mother Virgin Mary and grant me a peaceful passage into His bosson for enternity.

Till I hear from you I pray that God should continue to protect and bless you and your congregation.

Remain blessed.

Yours in Christ Jesus,
Mrs.Mercy Annan
