"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CAN WE AGREE?

Dear Sir,

You requested us to send you the cost estimate for the delivery of the ' TRUNK BOX '. The estimate we sent is a comprehensive detail of what it will cost Wagner Park & Associate to retrieve the ' trunk box ' from the security company in the Netherlands, and deliver to you in the USA.

The estimate is not from the security company, they do not give estimates but charge demorage and other financial charges as already forwarded to you by our humble selves, and request the other listed documents for verification to confirm your Beneficiary status.

We do not expect of you to trust or believe in us as we have the confidence and believe of Mr. Johnson Gary. All we require of you is to act in good faith in the interest of Mr. Johnson Gary, CHARITY and all other parties involved. We represent you and Mr. Johnson Gary as far as this issue of recovery of the ' TRUNK BOX ' is concerned.

We have made enquiries, started the process of procurement of the necessary document, and perfected all other arrangements for this project. All these we have done in good faith believing that together we can make the dream of a dying man come true.

We are practicing professional lawyers; we know our job and the best way to carry it out. The cost estimate cannot be reviewed, and $40,000 is very unrealistic. We request that you show some degree of commitment, make enquiries, analyze your findings, compare them with our estimate, and then make your conclusion.

We cannot make further progress on this project until you make a 40% monetary payment of the cost estimate to show your commitment to this course. And should we and your humble self fail to reach an agreement, we shall be sending all correspondence between us and your church to Mr. Johnson Gary so that he knows the position of things.

Regards,

Barr. Wagner Park.
