"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR KIND ATTENTION

Dear Sir,

I am Mrs. Elizabeth Milton, a Sierra-Leonian widow. The R.U.F. rebels fighting the civilian Government of President Dr. Ahmed Tedjan Kabbah of Sierra-Leone murdered my husband, late Dr. Albert Milton. After his death, the United Nations evacuation team evacuated my son and me to the refugee camp in Accra, Ghana here. And we have been staying in the refugee camp till now.

We have some funds totaling, twenty-one million United States dollars (US$21M). The fund is our family inheritance, and was transferred and deposited on our behalf in a security company here in Accra, Ghana. By my late husband Dr. Albert Milton, who was a former cabinet Minister for Mineral Resources & Energy in Sierra-Leone. He transferred the funds to Accra, being that the war had destroyed all the banks in Sierra-Leone. Unfortunately, the rebels later killed him as he was returning from a peace-talk in neighboring Ivory Coast, where he led the Government delegation. That was some years ago before Ivory Coast later fell into civil war also.

So my reason of contacting you is to seek your interest as our Foreign Business Partner, to receive the funds US$21M from us. As we want to transfer the funds out of Africa and invest it into a profitable business venture abroad

If you accept our proposal to be our foreign partner, to invest our funds as a joint venture partnership with you. To fully compensate you, we shall give you fifteen percent (15%) of our total funds. You shall also be entitled to thirty percent (30%) of every profit generated from the investment.

Even now, the war in our country has ended few years ago, some refugees have gone. But my son Joseph and I are still in the refugee camp. Because we cannot abandon our funds in the security company here in Accra and return to Sierra-Leone. This has put a huge pain in my heart. As my son and I continue to languish and suffer in the refugee camp, abandoned by everybody in the society.

I hope this offer would interest you, then contact me immediately through Email: elizabethmilton5@yahoo.com

You can also contact us through my son’s Email: jomilton6@yahoo.com

Please, in the name of God, come to the rescue of me and my son to end our sufferings.

I look forward to hearing from you soonest.

Kind regards,
Mrs. Elizabeth Milton.
