"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir,

We the Transatlantic Security Company confirm the receipt of your message to us, we want to assure you that your consignment will be deliver to you, to your church in Andalusia, Alabama USA, as you indicated in your mail.

Upon confirmation of the following, our delivery cost of USD$15,500 and it's insurance coverage of USD$22,000 and frieght charge of USD$8,000, bringing a total of USD$45,500 only which you are required to pay down payment of 50% before our diplomat deliver's the consignment to you in your church.

You are required now to confirm the complete address to enable our diplomat meet with you in your church by next week. Upon confirmation of the 50% down payment we will forward to you the name of our diplomat and his schedule.

Confirm this arrangement as urgent to enable us forward instruction for the 50% down payment.
