"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest one,

Good day and how are you. Really we have not meet each other before but due to my present predicament, I solicit for your great assistance towards my life.

In brief, I am the first daughter to Mr. koffi who was the former Director of Customs here in our country, Ivory Coast. But due to the political war in my country which started on the 19 sept. 2005, my father and mother was assasinated in our home town Boauke, so since then, I and my only sister were forced to run out of my home town to the economic capital, ABIDJAN, where we are presently residing.

But since then the political situation has been unstable, so therefore in order for us to save our life, I decided to contact you for you to help me and my sister to come over to your country, also you will help us in claiming our inheritance which my father kept for us, though he projected to use the money for the opening of an Industry in Asia, so now it is still under the custody of a security company and I have confirmed the existence of the box, the inheritance was some huge amount of money ($12.8million us dollars).

I wish to read your mail soonest, on getting your message, I am going to furnish you with all the legal documents including some photos.

Sincerely Yours,
koffi marina
