"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My Honourable - Dearest one,

We have been painfully deceased and displaced by on-going war in Labanon and suddenly turned to war refugees . I am Mrs. Gloria Maiga, a widow to the late Principal Director of Oxshorts Aluminium Factory based in Beruit-Lebanon who was assassinated in July 18th 2006 in this on-going war between Lebanon and lsreal .

I want to confide in you for an external assistance to help us evacuate our family inheritance US$8,100.000.00 {eight million one hundred thousand united states dollars only} deposited by my late husband in overseas since the finance house maintained that the instructions left by my late husband is that the funds should be "RELEASED TO MY FOREIGN REPRESENTATIVE ONLY", believing he would appoint a foreign representative by himself to represent him for the claim before he died earlier thereby making it difficult for the family to go any further regarding claims.

My health condition deteriorated out of shock which resulted in a partial stroke following the news of my husband's death and at the moment, i am receiving medical treatment for partial stroke at the Hemel Hempstead General Hospital, England.

lf you wish to help , please contact my only son George now at Cape town, South Africa on this Private family mobile : 00-27-83-4858-333 and Email id: george_maiga_family@yahoo.ie to enable him give you further information relating to the present position of funds and what next.

Remain blessed.

Mrs Gloria Maiga & family
