"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ATTENTION

Dear Friend,

I am General Richard Dodo. Angolan, and a close aid of Jonas Savimbi, former UNITA leader, who led the rebel group in a war against the Angola government for more than 30 years. Savimbi died in fighting with government troops on Friday, 23rd
Feb. 2002 in the diamond miming province of Moxico in south-east Angola. Two senior UNITA officers, brigadiers Big Jo and Bula, were also killed.
Though i lost my left arm, my self and other closest aid managed to flee. I am currently in exile in republic of Benin in West Africa.
Before the death of Savimbi, I was in charge of all financial operations. Three months before the demise of my boss, I have already moved close to 45 million United States dollars into a finance company here in Benin in a trustee account.
Unfortunately that ambush that killed my boss also turned me handicap.
To this effect, I humbly solicit your assistance in the following ways;

(1) To assist me claim this fund from the finance house as beneficiary.
(2) To transfer this money in your name to your country.
(3) To make a good arrangement for a joint business investment on our behalf in your country and under your good directives as the caretaker.

I promise to compensate you with 40 percent of the fund while 55 percent will still be under your management for investment purpose. The other 5% will be my cash at hand after buying a house and removing any expenses that could fall our way
during this transaction.

Please revert to me at this address on receipt of this mail.I will reply you with all necessary info. I got your contact from some gold/diamond dealers and i beleive that we can do real deal. Please contact me through my private Email:general_dodo02@yahoo.com

Thanks For Your Understanding.

Best regards
Gen. Richard Dodo.
