"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: REMAIN BLESSED

Beloved Brethren,

Happy Sunday to you. I give thanks to Almighty GOD for my safe operation last monday and I believe the promises of GOD has come to manisfestation in my life.

My Dear, The Bank sent informations to the hospital I am telling me that they can not transfer the fund to you any longer because you refused to follow their bank procedures.

Please, My advice to you is this, If you are not capable to conclude with the bank, kindly seek for an assistance of a TRUSTEE whom this fund will be transfered into his/her account to carry out this soul surviving mission but if you can not, kindly inform me immediately so that I will instruct the Surgeon who operated me to look for one so that the person can conclude with the bank and have this fund released to his/her custody because the surgeon is a GOD fearing man and very honest.

I can understand that you dont need this fund for the soul surviving mission and I do not want the bank management to start having odd impression concerning this deposited fund.

I also tried to plead with the management of the bank concerning your non agreement with their regulations as they said and I promised them that either you still or someother trustee will definitely conclude with them this new week.

So, I await your opinion concerning this issue. If you still want to have this fund released to you, kindly inform me but if you dont want it any longer, then look for a capable trustee OR I will inform the surgeon to look for one because I have already giving him every details concerning the deposit.

May GOD bless you abundantly.

Rev.Fr Joseph Afoke
