"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE : Re: Great the Box is in your country now.

Dear servant of God,

There is nothing you can do in this regard than to aid the diplomat in paying for the charges at the airport as he requested before the consignment can get to your residence or point of collection. This will help him to avoid inspecting the box in question and to avoid your government confisicating the funds as the content of the box was not made known to them.

Plz do not aloow the box to be inspected or we loose the box. The diplomate as he told me spent all his fees in the hotel you can not even think about all these things? or if you don't to recieve the box tell the security company so that they will take back the consignment to their care and am afraid what will happen next.

looking forward hearing from you after collecting the box plz.

madam Rachelle.
