"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir,

I write to acknowledge the receipt of your mail and its content noted.

I want to let you know that the &50,000.00USD that I requested from you was the mobilization money, but if you insist that it is too exhorbitant, then I will ask you to suggest the amount you feel that you can pay my Chambers for the mobilization fees, so that we can start work on this matter with immediate effect.

It is important for you to know that I never impose the money on you, but I put it across to you so that you can let me know what you can afford to come up with. But don't orget that I will need to travel to London and all this will cost money, all the same let me know what you come up with at he moment so that when we are through and the money is remitted into your bank account, then you can pay my ees in full.

Now we need to start work so that we can move as scheduled and meet up with travelling to London by next weekend. My travel agent have already made plans to book for a flight ticket for me, but he said that I cannot travel directly to London at the moment, but I will have to go through Amsterdam (Holland) and take a train to London due to the hectic flight schedule in London now because of the terrorist bomb scare for flights from London, which has crippled flight in and out o London.

I look forward to you reply with anticipation so that we can move on as a team.

Yours in service,

Christopher Alima (SAN)
