"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR DETAILS FORWARDED TO OUR PAYING BANK (FROM STEVE COOL)

Dear M. Stanley,

We are in receipt of your mail / Details as requested and we wish to inform
you that all arrangments have been concluded to effect the transfer of your
winnings to your residential/home by bank cheque, once we finish the
verification exercise. Do note that we recently took delivery of the total
winnings from our sponsors.

The funds have been fully insured by this organisation and deposited with
our paying bank through which your funds will be transfered. We will
proccess your clerance and issue same to our paying bank for them to make
the neccessary payment of your prize. The Bank will contact you immediately
we submit your file to them and let you know the next step for the transfer
of your winnings. You do not have to bother yourself is 100% real.

Call the telephone number for more clarification. Note: you are requested to
keep your winnings and informations confidential till you recieve your
prize.Can you try this number 0927737151820,name Steve Cool.
