"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir / Madam,


We wish to acknowledge receipt of your message to this office in respect to
your Lotto winning notification and claim. Congratulations.

For more clarification, a Lottery program was conducted by the
Euro-Afro-American-Sweepstake Lottery Organization. The Lottery draws was
conducted in London, United Kingdom using email addresses of individual andf
cooporate bodies. The email addresses were extracted from Internet Services
provider Companies world wide. As a matter of fact, one is not expected to
play the Lottery before becoming a winner that is why emails were used and
then winners are notified by the Lottery organiser while payment agents are
scartered all over the world include our humble self. The program is
designed to help people financially.

It is our obligation to inform you that we have been mandated to process,
release and transfer your winning fund by Euro-Afro-American-Sweepstake
Lottery United Kindom. We are mandated to supervise, assist and monitor the
claim and payment of winners of the Lottery from the designated bank here in
South Africa.

In order to process your winning payment, we shall require your unflinching
support and co-operation as to carry out payment and transfer of your fund

nominated bank account.

In normal circumstances, it will take us three to Five working days to
complete the processing and transferring of your money but this would depend
on the support and co-operation we receive from you. You are not expected to
come to South Africa to process your winning and your funds. It is your duty
to comply with the necessary requirements to process your funds while it is
our duty to process it and transfer it to any banking account nominated by
you.

You are not expected to come down to South Africa to claim your funds, you
