Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I ma writing you Inabsolute confidence primarily to seek Your assistance to help claim our cash of three million dollars($3000,000.00)now in the custody of a security company here in Ghana.Pending our arrival to your country.
Source of the money....My Late father ,Dr Johnson Mohammed ,a native of Mende distrct in the northern province of Sierra-Leone ,was the General Manager of Sierra Leone Minnig Co-Operation (S.M.C.)Freetown.According to my father,this money was the icome aquired from minning co-operation over draft and minor sales.
Before the peak of the cibil war between the rebles force of major Fode Sakoh and the combined forces of ECOMOG peace keeping oeration the alsmost destoyed my country, following the forceful removal from power of the Civilian Elected President Tijan Kabbah by the rebels.
My father has already made arrangement for his family, my mother, my little sister and myself to be evacuated to Ghana, Accra with our personal effects.
My father deposited the fund with Provident Insurance & Security Company here in Ghana as consignment containing family precious items befor the war in my country. When he will join us. During the was in my country.
My father including the other top Government functionaries were attacked and killed bythe rbles in November 2003 becuase of is realtionship with the civilian Government of Tihan Kabbah. As a result of my father's death, and with the news of my uncles involvement in air crash in January, dashed our hope of survival.
The untimely deaths caused my mothers heart failure and othe related complications of which she late died in the hospital after we must have spent alot of money om her.

Now my 14year old sister and i are alone in this strange country suufering withoiut any care or help .Wihout any relation ,we are now in the refugee's camp here in Ghana.Our only hope now is this fund which our father deposited with security company as family pracious items.We need your assistance in the following ways.To assist me claim this consignment from the security.

To secure a college for my little sister in your country to further our education and to make arrangement for our travel to meet you face to face in your country after you have recieved the consignment.
All the document covering the depositr of the conssignment with the security company are in my custody.Ans i have gone to the security company and they told me that the agreement my father signed with them was that before the trunk boxes will be released to me ,i have to come with a lawyer that will help me to sign the legal document for the releasr of the trunk boxes and also i must have a foriegn partner that the trunk boxes will be delivered to outside Africa which will help to invest the money for your country ,so this is the reason why i am contacting you to be my beneficiary.I will like you to tell me how much you will take from the funds and invest the remaining funds for us in your country when it is delivered to you .When i have heard from you i will then lookfor a lawyer here that will assist me sign the release order of the trunk boxes with the security company here in Ghana
