"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am sending this proposal to you based on the information I gathered about you as a good and trusted person hence I write to explain my predicament to you and seek for your urgent assistance.

I am Tayo Williams Jr,the first son of late Engineer Funsho Williams who was murdered in a cool blood on the 27th day of July 2006, at his Ikoyi Resident by unknown persons, may his gentle soul rest in the bossom of our Lord God. AMEN. Before his untimely death,my late father was a Governorship Aspirant of Lagos state under the ruling party "PEOPLE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF NIGERIA"(PDP).Engineer Funsho Williams was once a secretary to the federal government of Nigeria also, a commisioner for works and housing under Lagos state before he was politically appointed as the Chairperson of Nigerian Maritine and services till his death.

Fortunately for us his children,my late father was advised to lodged his funds for campaign in a security firm in Europe come 2007 election by his attorney. I seize this opportunity to inform you that my late father deposited a huge sum of USD$27.5million dollars under the custody of this security firm in Europe. I have since contacted this security firm over his death and I was made to understand by the operation manager of the security company that the money was deposited as a diplomatic consignment in favour of me as the beneficiary.

I due implore your service to serve as the foreign patiner and also next of kin to my late father so that your name could be use to apply for the fund as the rightful beneficiary to enable the consignment be deliver to you in any place of your choice and assist us to invest the fund into a profitable investment there in your country. I have agreed to compensate you with 25% of the total sum as you agreed to champion the transaction together while 5% has been mapped out to takecare of any expenses we may incure during the course of the transaction.
