"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Thanks for your mail

Dear Sir,

I am sorry for any inconvenience this mail might cause you, coming from some
one you have never met. I am KUDARAT ABDULAZIZ MULLEI. My husband was a one
time Kenya Ambassador to Lebanon; we stayed in Lebanon for 5 years. Before
we were posted to Lebanon we were Christians, in Lebanon my husband and I
became Muslims, when we came back to Kenya after the assignment in Lebanon
my husband was retired from the Government services. After his retirement we
left Government house in capital city of Nairobi to our local area, but our
people in the locality were angry that we became Muslim having come from a
prominent Christian family; they threaten to banish us from the town if do
not denounce the Muslim faith. Because of what we have learnt about Islam we
refused to denounce it.

One day they set our house on fire our 13 years son who was sleeping was
burnt to death. After the incident my husband, I and our only daughter left
Kenya immediately back to Lebanon. In Lebanon my husband started a business;
he was into supply and sales of oil drilling equipments and other related
materials using his influence as an Ex Ambassador, he was doing business
with most African Presidents and some other influential personalities around
the world.

You might be surprise to note that I am sending this mail to you from my
hospital bed, for 6 months now I have been admitted in a London hospital,
the sickness became worst when my husband was killed by Israeli army during
the fight with the Hezbollah group in Lebanon, and He was coming to London
to see me.

The shock of the death of my husband worsened my health condition. Also his
business have collapsed because my daughter and her husband residing here in
London refused to go to Lebanon to continue his business, rather the family
have agreed to donate 60% of his resources cash in the bank, (Which is about
$6.2M) to the Muslim community for the building of mosque and to take care
of the less privilege.

Based on this, I want to appoint you as the manager of this fund. Please get
back to me through my daughter on Tel/Fax: +44-870-135-3147 email:
amina1976@o2.pl for all details. My daughters name is Amina.
Thank you,

Hajia Kudarat Abdulaziz Mullei
