"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Dear,

My name is Gloria Peters, I am 21 years old single girl . I lost my parents
and our two youger sisters to the war in our country. I am lucky that I was
taken to this country Cote d' Ivoire by some good sameritans who have
families here, Ivory coast. I am staying in a missionary refugee camp for
people displaced by the crisis in our country and those from this country's
crisis.

I would like to appeal to you confidentialy to assist me concerning my late
father's deposit in International Bank here in Abidjan of $5,000,000,00.
(Five Million United State Dollars) I want to move out of here because the
crisis that started here of over one year now is still on and there is no
sign that it will be well with the country. Also the condition in this camp
is not condusive for us that had life very easy before. Can I trust you to
help me transfer this money to your bank account and also get a place for me
to stay in your country?
Can I also trust you to safe keep this fund when you confirm this money into
your bank account in your country?

If you are willing to help me please indicate in your next mail and let me
know so that I will give you the contact of the bank for you to contact
them as my foriegn partner and make arrangement with the bank on how the
money can be transfer to your account in your country. Let me have your
telephone number and I will discuss with you some details. I have made up my
mind to give you the 10%of the total amount for your assistance rendered in
this transaction.

God bless you,
Miss Gloria Peters.
