"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I received your email in respect of claiming your UK lottery winning.
I want to bring to your hearing that the amount you have won in our lotto is 1,000,000.00 EURO.
The information your forwarded to us has been noted and your winning fund is on process. Before you can claim your winning fund you will have to go through our payment procedures below and choose the option you prefer to enable us serve you better.
1) Bank to Bank transfer: If you which to receive your winning fund through bank transfer, you will have to open a transit bank account with our paying bank here, this bank account will accommodate the fund which you have won in our lotto, through this bank account your winning fund will be transferred into your designated bank account anywhere in the world.

This process is 2 days delivery and your cheque will be sent after our requirement has been met.
