"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Amarjit Singh,

I am sorry I have not been able to communicate with you all these while; I have been very busy investing my share of the contract entitlements here in China. I know you must remember me. I contacted you some time ago to assist me in receiving a contract amount of US$20.5 million in your account, which you dropped in the process due to financial problems.

Now, a Chinese partner assisted in paying off all the charges and the fund was transferred into his account. We have shared the fund according to the agreed percentages and I have invested mine in China. Because of your involvement in the pursuit of the fund and your utmost assistance and sincerity as at that time, I have left for you the sum of US$5 million with the Stander Trust Bank in Nigeria.

You are to contact my lawyer in Nigeria, Mr. Link Morgan either on
Telephone: +234 805 626 6380, Emails: linkandassociate@linuxmail.org or
linkandassociate@yahoo.co.uk for your Draft. The draft will be sent to you
immediately you contact him by international courier service to dispatch
your draft. You are to inform me when you have receive your draft,
thanks for everything.
God bless you,

Yours Sincerely,
Abba Abacha.
