"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I hope that you will keep this very confidential.I am leut. John Brown who was the chief security officer to the former President of liberia Charles Taylor.I travellled with him to Nigeria when he was there on exile.I have worked with him ever since he became president of liberia.
The Proposal: Now There is this money that he asked me to keep in a security company for him at Ghana which i did. I did deposit this money with his name and used my own name as his next of kin.all the documents are with me and I can send it to you on request.
I want you to stand as the beneficiary of the money so that both of us will go to the security house or I will ask them to transfer this money to you.The amount is $5.5 million dollars.The security company did not know that the box contains money so please I want you to contact me so that i will instruct you on how to make this deal a reality.
NOTE: I will give out 30% of the total fund to anyone who will assist me in making this deal a reality.
The subject:Charles Taylor was captured when he was trying to flee from his exile house in Nigeria to Cameroun.He has since been taken to world court for killing and causing war in West Africa.He is now in detention in Hague.
