"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Elica Bohmlich.

Thanks for your mail, but i am not happy the way you are delaying this transaction.I told you that the date given by the bank is very near and if it expired it means that i told them lie that you are the beneficiary of the fund in question.

We maped out some money to use to secure the valid documents on your balf,so i did not know if there will be any other charge after the approval of the fund in your name as the beneficiary. Please, the most important right now is to have your full informations as required by the bank so we can move forward to secure the paperwork that will back up the claims.

I will be the happiest man if you send to me the infors as soon as you received this mail.Happy weekend to you.

Regards.

Barr Buchi Ude.

I apologise but I have been sifting through our mails and something is raising doubts and making me unsettled. I have to ask, how did you know how to contact me originally? It is imperative for me to know this.

Please understand it would be a serious problematic issue if there are some possibility of payments that are required from myself. I really do not have much money.

It would be good if you would kindly respond? I would like something gracious from you.

Yours sincerely,

Fr Elica Bohmlich
