"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I NEED YOUR HELP URGENTLY.

Dear Marlena Meistst
Thanks for your mail and all its contents were quite noted, but permit my frankness, it may be true that you receive catalogue of offers from various individuals maybe that is why you were requesting for some proof, which is necessary anyway.
ms Marlena Meistst this is a clarion call for assistance from a distressed soul and embittered young woman. You don’t mean to tell me that you have not heard the bitter pills the present government of Liberia has made us to swallow.Virtually every property and accounts of my father has been seized leaving me,my mum and my younger brother to our fate.

Anyway, I must not fail to thank you for considering your stand concerning the plight of my family, which I humbly explained to you in my mail.Marlena Meistst the issue is that I have passed through more horrible conditions and as such I have become very skeptical of people and their principles.I must have to reiterate that I want to conduct myself in a manner that will not in any way generate suspicion. This is important because the government may decide to strip me of this one last string of survival. So therefore, in receiving your next reply i will instruct my family Attorney to procure the wire transfer form from the director of wire transfer department, Natwest bank, London.Which you will fill in thereafter, send to the bank and which will commence the process of securing our funds. However, you will get any kind of proof or evidence you want from the bank when the transaction commence fully.

So please, I would rather suggest you reconsider your stand and help me realize this one last chance of securing this funds, for you know that this project is not only classified but also very confidential and should be treated as such. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest possible time.

Note, that as soon as the funds get into your account that i will come over immediately.

Best regards,
Susan Taylor.
