"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

we have not seen or communicate with each other before. First let me
introduce myself, I am Mrs ROSE NKOLOO from Angola, I got your information in my
search for a reliable and trust worthy person from South Africa
Information Exchange Johannesburg.I am the wife of Mr Edwardo NKOLO. My husband was the Feild Commander of their [UNITA] opposition group lead by the late General Jonas
Savimbi.UNITA is the rebel group that have been fighting the Goverment of Angola led
by the MPLA party since 1975 Angola gained indepenndece.

IF you are current with world issues you will know about the killing
of General Jonas Savimbi and 30 of his loyal troops by goverment forces
during fighting in feb 2002.My husband was among those killed. As the feild
commander of his Party My husband was also incharge of keeping the
finance (money) of his party. Since 1975 when the civil war started their was
no banking activity in the rebel controlled part of Angola
of which most of the money belonging to UNITA party were kept by my
husband in cash. The generated most of their revenue through mining of diamond
androyalties paid by Multinational oil companies operating in Angola
so that their operations and installations will not be destroyed by the
UNITA forces. When it became clear that the Goverment forces will overrun
UNITA REBELS , MY husband called me and ask me to take our children out of
Angola to South Africa for safety.

He gave me some documents and told me that he deposited the sum of
Ninteenteen Million Five Hundread Thousand United States Dollar($19.500,000). contained in a trunk boxes as Family Valueables with a security compay in South Africa in
my name. and he did not disclose to the security company the actual
content in the box so that they will not rip me off as a woman. He specifically
instructed me that I SHOULD USE THIS MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF HIS
CHILDREN INCASE OF HIS DEATH. Now I am in South Africa with my family as
political assylum seekers, and had gone to the security company which the chief security officer confirmed and willing to release the consignment

I consulted a Legal/financial adviser for the investment of this
money and he advice me that as a political asylum seeker the law did not permit
political asylum seekers like me to work or transact any business here
in South Africa, that I should look for a reliable and trustworthy person outside
[South Africa] to help me transfer the money to his account and assist in
investing it there. This is my reason of contacting you. I need your
assistance to transfer this money into your account and invest it in
your country with your assistance. For your help, I am willing to give you
20% of the total money, and 80% will be for my family investment.

If you can assist me please indicate your interest by contacting me on
