"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I appologise for any embarrasment or inconviniency this letter may cause you.
As you may know, as a Barrister I receive clients from any part of the world,and
it is my responsibility to take seriously their cases and tackel with them
as the law may provide, for equity and justice.
Please do understand my client's case, a Liberian citizen he is
late.Before his death he was the ex-presidents special advicer,
He deposited two boxes with a security company containing fourty million
us dollars(USD$40 Milion).
This money belongs to him, now his son is under aged to manage this funds
and he is still schooling. I am adviced to solicit a business partner who
can clear the funds from the security company and invest and manage this
funds in a good business for him as a partner pending his completion of
education.
