"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good morning and peace be with you. My name is Nwakuba Henry and I am from Nigeria. I am a boy of 20years and an undergraduate student of IMO STATE UNIVERSITY at OWERRI in Nigeria. I am reading computer science as a course of study. Accept my heartfelt introduction to you.
My Rev, I come to you like a lost sheep of which I must tell you that I don’t know how I will narrate you my condition and situation and you will understand it. But I will still let you know because I don’t have any person to run to.
My Rev, my condition is so painful in the sense that I was born and brought up from the poor family. I have no person to help me. My parents are doing something that is not strong. I gain admission into university by the grace of God. So, since my first year in the university, I had been catering for y affair with the little money I saved from time I had not gain admission. But now, I am in the third year about to enter into the final year.
Parents are not educated and since my child, I dedicated to be educated by to make sure that I study hard in other to make it. I am some body that is very much in love in education that is why I devoted the whole of my time to study.
Rev, last thing I will do now is to lie to you and of which I promise never to try such in life. But, I am asking and pleading of some thing that has tired me very down.
I am financially down and bankrupt. I don’t have money to solve most of my problems here in school. My school fee is becoming very and heavy problem for me to pay likewise to text books that I need for my course. Please Rev, I need your merciful help, I beg you in the name of our lord Jesus to help me out of this financial problems.
I am writing this letter with a shade of tears in my eyes. Any how, nothing is too small for me, no amount is too small, I will definitely accept it with a happy mind or if you can help me to get this four foreign textbooks they ask us to buy, I will be the happiest person in this earth. These books are the programming text books; they are VIDUAL BASIC.NET, ORACLE TEXT BOOKS, and JAVA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT BOOK. It is only four in number. They are books that will guard me in my course. I have no body to buy it for me and I don’t have the money. Please my Rev, any one either financially or the text books. Please Rev, these books is very costly here in Nigeria and I can never afford the money to buy it. I need your help, our project and IT is gradually drawing near, at least with this books, I will gradually overcome all this exam stress and know my course very well.
