"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear One,

Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship
with you.

I got your name and contact from the internet search when i was looking
for a realable company that can help me for the transfer and invest part
of the money to their finacise.

I prayed over it and selected your name among other names and company contact
that i got due to its esteeming nature and the recommendations given to
me as a reputable and trust worthy person that I can do business with and
by the recommendation , I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple
and sincere business.

I am Lucis Morgan the only Daugther of late Mr and Mrs.RICHARD BARTH MORGAN.My
father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan , the economic capital
of Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to dearth by his business associates
on one of their outings on a business trip.

My mother died when I was a baby and sincethen my father took me so special.

Before the death of my father on January 2001 in a private hospital here
in our country, he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he
has the sum of seventeen million,five hundred thousand United State Dollars.

USD ($ 17.500,000) deposited in a Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), which
his foreign partner will come for the claim.

He also explained to me that it was because of his wealth that he was poisoned
by his business associates.

That I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where
who will assist me to claim this money and use it for investment purpose
such as real estate management or hotelmanagement.
Sir, I am honourably seeking your assistance in the,
followingways:

(1) I want you to stand as my late father's foreign partner and instruct
the bank transfer this money into your bank account.

(2)To serve as a guardian of this fund until i finish my education which
is the most important to me.

(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my
education and to secure a resident permit in your country.

(4)To make arrangement to come down to Abidjan for signing of business Agreement
and for the transfering of the fund into your account.

Moreover, sir I will like you to tell me what you will take from the total
sum as compensation for your effort/input after the successful transfer
of this fund into your nominated account overseas Furthermore, quickly indicate
your willingness towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction
would be concluded within fourteen (14) days you signify interest to assist
me.

Please on your next response i will advice you get back to me on my late
father company email adresses that he gave to me.(dr.barth@voila.fr)
