"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE:INVESTMENT

Dear Friend,

It is a long time that i have being looking for a reliable and trustworthy partner like you so that we can do business together, Before i came across your contact. My name is Mr.Abdul Rahman. from Liberia and presently in a United Nations (UN) refugee camp in a border town in Ivory Coast in West Africa. My father was a politician and Tobacco farmer. He was killed in his bed room by the rebels. The rebels beat me and broke my right leg and i am now using single stick before i walk. During the time my father was alive. My father used my name as next of kin to deposit $15.5millon USA Dollars and 54kilos Gold dust in a secuirity company in Ghana. Now that my father is dead I want to retrieve the consignment and invest the money in a lucrative business outside Africa like your country. You may see this as a relief to my problem but that is far from over, As my late father wisely deposited the consignment as a family Treasure / Gift items to his foreign business partner
oversea. I have decided to give you 15% percent of the total sum if you help me claim out this consignment as the foreign partner from the security company where my late father deposited the consignment for safe keeping. Please i need your assistance in releasing the consignment from the company and also investing the money in foreign firm. I promise to reward you handsomely for your kindness. Please reply me if you are interested or not so that i will know what to do next.

Thanks for your concern as I await your quick reply.

Your's Brother,
Mr.Abdul Rahman.
