"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Thank you so much for your really fine reply.

I am thankful for your missive. I found it quite dead level.

Accept my deepest apologies but I am currently very busy as I have to do some extra time and it is making me very tired.

How far further has things gone now? When will I receive the money as you agreed?

Recently, something I heard on the radio is really bothering me: what about EU taxes? Do they hit me? Do not be nervous. Please do know that I am totally dedicated to your great deal.

You fascinate me. Can you also tell me, what sort of clothing do you wear? Also, do you pray often?

Many years ago my godmother told me: You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother.

Now I will await a reply from you please.

best regards,

Ms Schwatzer
