"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention: Cogent need of a befitting inheritor

This contact is necessitated by the sudden demise of the sole inheritor,
Mr. Anderson Carrington, to the financial estates of my late client, Engr.
Philip Carrington, a British petroleum engineer with PDVSA (Petroleos de
Venezuela SA) in Maracaibo, Venezuela, who died in 1998. Mr. A. Carrington
died a few months ago shortly after his 26th birthday.

I am the executor to the esates of the late Engineer. My late client never
married as he had an accident early in life that affected the fertility of
his reproductive system. However, he had an adopted son, Mr. A. Carrington,
whom he made sole inheritor to part of his finacial estates which amounts
to Eight Million British Pounds Sterling. By a power of attourney obtained
in Her Majesty's Court, England, my client (the testator) made me executor
to his estates and gave me the mandate to ensure that the bulk of the last
of his financial estates which amounts to £8,000,000.00 (Eight Million
British Pound Sterlings) only, goes to his adopted son when he attains the
age of 27. However, in event of his death before that age, forty percent
should go to a research organization/institution or an individual I deem
fit, while sixty percent should go to charity.

With this contact, you have been offered the status of inheritor of forty
percent of my late client's financial etsate (only if you assure me of
twentyfive percent when we conclude the transfer of the money to you). If
you accept this offer, you shall assume responsibility as sole inheritor of
£3,200,000.00 (three million, two hundred thousand ritish pound sterling)
only; and shall ensure the immediate transfer to your account anywhere in
the world.

Best Regards.

Very truly yours,
Pieter Perez.
