"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I wish to notify you (Beneficiary who are yet to receive funds) that all outstanding contract or inherited funds has been approved and listed for immediate payment of funds and these payments shall unconditional be effected through our international Payment Bank, HSBC- bank New York, to you.

The sums of US$12,000,000 (Twelve Million U.S.Dollars) has been approved to be paid to you at this last quarter of this fiscal year and you are therefore required to contact MR. ANTHONY HOLE of the Bank Centrale Togo through email address: ANTHONY_HOLETG@YAHOO.FR for the claim and payment of your funds to you.
Be informed that your payment is on-line for credit and you are advised not to delay in sending your references to Mr. Anthony Hole for dispatch to the HSBC for the credit of your funds.
