"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Dear Respectful One,
Permit me to inform you of my present predicament and my intentions to you. I believe you are a reputable and responsible and trustworthy person I can confide with from the little information so far gathered.

I am Jennifer Alice Kossa, born 1982. child of late Mr and Mrs Kossa, my parents was assassinated on the 21st of september 2002, by the rebels during the political crises that resulted to several rebel attack in our country Ivory Coast on 20th of September 2002 and took over our town BOUAKE. I ran to Abidjan the economic capital of cote d ivoire from where I am contacting you. Before the death of my parents they have already told me that they made a lodgement of a consignment containing the sum of $3,000,000 (Three million united states dollars) kept in a private security company in Cote d' Ivoire in my father's name. My father died at the age of 41 and a cocoa Merchant before his untimely death. In the capacity of the next of kins, and the only legitimate child of my parents, I am contacting you with due sence of humanity and responsibility and with few awareness that you will give it a sympathetic and mutual consideration.

Now that i am in Abidjan and verified the transacting, and the general family of my father is putting too much presure on me to let them know all the secret investment of their son. This is the intimidation culture practiced in my locality even after they have claimed all the houses in the capital, abidjan. I left them do that because they are threatening to kill me; so i left all the houses to them to save my life. I need your assistance to help me move this consignment out of Cote d"Ivoire for the betterment of my future in your country as I cannot carry up any plans. political crises and the crises and rumours of war still going on here; Including the difficulties i am going thru from my father's brothers, sisters, uncles and nephews. By this mail, you are now requested to arrange a visit down to Abidjan so that we shall know our selves and arrange on how to transfer this money to your country. But if you can not come down, then let me have your full details so
that both of us will plan on how to transfer the consignment containing this money out of Africa immediately for investment in your country. Luckily, the family of my father do not know anything about this deposit.

There is need for urgent actions because the security company is now asking for a renewal of the agreement as their first agreement with my father have just expired for keeping this consignment. Your services will also be required on advising me for proper investment programs in your country as I intend in united state after the dislodgement and relocation of the consignment is concluded. Please treat this issue as highly necessary and valuable and contact me immediately with the above e-mail address mentioned with the body of the letter for more information about this transaction. Reply me this message immediately.
Thanks for your prompt attention
Linda J.A Kossa
