"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Contact My Accountant

Hello Melania,

Longest time, I hope all is well with you together with your family, if so
glory be to God Almighty.
I'm happy to inform you about my success in getting those funds transferred
with the cooperation of a new partner from Hong Kong. We were paid from
African Developement Bank Plc Cotonou, Benin Republic.

Presently I’m now in Hong Kong for investment projects with my own share of
the total sum. Meanwhile, I didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to
assist me in transferring this fund despite that we could not conclude it. I
have decided to compensate you for your past financial assistance.

Contact my Accountant Cotonou, Benin Republic, his name is Mr.Williams Kombo
on his e-mail address (williams_kombo001@myway.com).I have raised a
certified Bank Draft in your name to the tune of $900,000.00 (Nine Hundred
Thousand United States Dollars)for you.

Feel free and get in touched with my Accountant Mr.Kombo and instruct him
on where to send the Bank Draft to you at your own expense as I have done
enough by allocating such amount of money to you.

Even my current partner is not happy that i have to allocate such amount to
you bearing in mind your attitude to the transaction at its crucial stage.

I m very busy here because of the investment projects which I and the new
partner are handling, So hesitate not to get in touch with him and He will
inform me immediately he has obliged you the fund. Once again, here is his
address (williams_kombo001@myway.com)

Best Regards,

Barr Mike Donald
