"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My sincere greetings to you.
Before any thing, i really want you to bear with me
after reading my mail, because i know you don't know
me in person, of which bad people in this world has
made us not to trust the good once again, but i will
want you to trust me, as i am a God fearing person,
and i will always like truth and honesty to be our
watch word in any thing we are doing regarding my
request to you.
For your information, i contacted you in regards to a
fund that was deposited by my late father in a Bank
here in Cote D'Ivoire with my name as the next of kin.
Moreso, let me tell you about myself. I am Solomon
Johnson from Cote D'Ivoire , am now 22 years old, the only child of late
Mr Albert Johnson. My late father and mother died in a
Car accindent when they where coming back from the
Church. And before my late father died he told me
about his fund deposited in the bank,
and the total amount in question is (US$18.500,000.00 Eighteen Million Dollars).
In addition, i will want you to help me in
transferring of the fund to your country, so it will
enable me to come over to your country and start up a
new life and aslo for me to continue my education. And please the only thing that i need from you is stated below:
1) I need your full Banking information where the
fund will be transferred to.
2) I need you to help me with a letter of invitation
that will enable me to obtain my visa after the fund
gets into your account.
3) I will like you to help me to further my education
in your country.
Finally, i will be waiting to read from you, and if
you wish to write me please try to write me through
