"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The Cocacola lottery board wish to know why we haven't heard from you since your confirmation message was received. Hence we have decided to first inquire from you the reason for discontinuing your claims process. You are to write back within the next two weeks or you would forfeit your FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EURO.winnnings, which when forfeited goes back to our trasury, But If you wish not to continue with the claims procedures, you are asked to write a letter of disclaimer to us for us to send your winnings back to our treasury as unclaimed fund. If not you are to contact me concerning your winnings and continue your claims process. If there is any way you think we can help you with a speedy processing of your claims documents, you are to state so in your reply.
Thanks for your correspondence to our lottery notification. We wish happiness with your winnings.
