"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTENTION:WINNER,

Congratulations once again from all the staff here.I`m reall sorry to reply your email so late but like you know the Uk National Lottery programme is done weekly and as such i had a lot of work to attend to.

Your email stated your doubting the legitimacy of this Lottery Progrmme,i know it seems too good to be true but it actually is and i would like you to fill out the form i sent to you and send it back or i will have to tell the Board in charge of the International Sweeptakes Programme that you have chosen to forfeit your winning prize.

As for the German withholding taxation issues you do not have to worry about that as our international lottery programme makes sure you only have to pay a little tax out of your winnings so you should not worry.

I advice you send your reply soonest and i hope it is a positive one because that way you will be making my job a lot easier.

I hope i have satisfactorily answered all your questions.

Warm Regards,

Mr James Parker
