"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Prospective Partner,
I quite appreciate your reply to my email to you. I have been so worried to find some one who I could trust with this transaction until faith directed me to you, and I decided to carry on with you. I know my proposal must have come to you as a surprise as we have not met before.
Though, I have been reliably informed before now that some people send fraudulent letters to unsuspecting individuals overseas making bogus claims. Please be informed that this is not such claim, my claims are verifiable from the bellow sites: -

SOURCES OF THE MONEY

When my father was the Finance Minister of Brunei, he was also the chairman the Brunei Investment Agency. The Agency controls 13 companies & Brunei’s overseas assets. During this period, he ran among other business of his own Oil refinery and marketing, which was flourishing with every Government support. From the business, is where my father made his money.

But before the business was clamped down by His Majesty SHEIK HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MU'IZZADDIN WADDAULAH, I went ahead to dispatch the sum of USD$120 Million in cash under special arrangement into the custody of different Offshore Banks and Private security and Trustee companies for safe keeping abroad. The money where split and kept in proportion. For security reasons I will not mention the countries until I am convince that you are ready and willing to assist me to receive the monies into your safe account for safe keeping.
ALL YOU WILL NEED TO DO

I have perfected all the necessary arrangement to enable you receive this funds from the Finance Company. All I want you to do for me is to assist me to receive the money into your account. It is after you received this money from the Finance Company as the family representative/partner that you will deposit the money into your bank account because I intend to invest in Real Estate and agro-chemical business, which you will assist in supervising pending when I finally join you in your country. But if you have any idea in other business you can advise.

Its very important you urgently send your full name, address as you may want it to appear in the change of documents, private telephone number and send to me a valid Identification card, once this is done I will write an introduction mail to the Finance Company that you are the family representative/partner. I will forward to you the details of the Finance Company to enable you make direct contact with them.

We shall discuss other modalities for the conclusion of the transaction when I shall have heard from you. I am counting on your maximum Co-operation to assist my family for this mutual beneficial relationship. Please do not disappoint me as I have reposed this trust in you. Thank you in anticipation while waiting to do business with you in the nearest future.
Thanks and God bless.

Yours truly,

PRINCE FAYAD H. BOLKIAH
