"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

this year at Kolebu Teaching Hospital Accra Ghana and his friend Revered
Father Mensah gave me some documents which my Dad gave to him to keep,from
the documents I discovered that my dad kept two boxes which contain about
fourteen million united states dollars in a storage company before he died.
I just want you to help us file for the release of the boxes as my dad's
partner abroad and transfer it abroad.I have all the document issued to my
dad from the Storage company to back up the claim.We wish to relocate from
Ghana to a better place where our money will be safe,that is why I am
contacting you. If you are ready to help us, you will help find a good
school for me and my brother,also you will guide me to invest the money into
a lucrative business. If you are willining to assist me,i am prepared to
give you 30% of the money involved. Please the earlier you help us the
better.
